Travis Kelce reveals 'adorable' way his nieces addressed Taylor Swift when they first started dating

Travis Kelce has recalled how his 'adorable' starstruck nieces would call Taylor Swift by her full name when they first started dating.

Kelce's older brother Jason and his wife Kylie share four young daughters: Wyatt, six, Ellie, five, Bennett, three, and Finn, 16 months.

They are known to have spent plenty of time with Swift ever since the pop superstar started dating their uncle Travis in late 2023.

Swift then officially became their aunt earlier this summer when she and Kelce tied the knot at a star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden, during which Jason and Kylie's daughters served as flower girls.

But, during the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, the Kelce brothers were reminiscing over how the girls would address Swift at first.

The NFL brothers were discussing an upcoming special episode with Tom Cruise and how odd it was for Travis to know arguably Hollywood's biggest star as just 'Tom.'

The Chiefs tight end said: 'We had to break that habit with the girls when they got to meet Aunt Tay Tay. They were calling her Taylor Swift.'

Jason added: ''Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift..' You can call her Taylor.'

A laughing Travis then added his nieces' confusion was 'adorable.'

Kylie revealed on her podcast last month how Swift has become a big 'influence' on her and Jason's daughters. 

She explained to actress and comedian Leslie Mann that she was trying to convince her husband to get a cat but he hadn't budged.

'I love this so much because I grew up with cats,' Kylie explained as the two bonded over their love of the animal before she brought up Swift, who is famously a huge cat lover.

'I grew up in a cat-dog house, like, both at all times, and now our kids have influences in their life - aunt Taylor's a big one - where they get to be around cats,' Kylie said.

'Then we go home, and there are no cats, and they're like, "We want cats."'

Of course, Swift is the mom of three cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button. 

'I'm like, "Jason, I need you to lock in here; there is a cat need in this house," and he won't hear me out on it,' Kylie said of her husband. 

During an August 6 episode of her podcast, Kylie also explained that Jason had cried at the wedding seeing the girls come down the aisle.

'He cried at his brother’s wedding for many reasons. It was touching,' Kylie shared.

Swift was back at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night and sat alongside Cruise and Jason to watch her new husband and his Chiefs open the NFL season with a 31-10 win over the Denver Broncos.
