Taylor Fritz's influencer-ex Morgan Riddle makes dramatic return to US Open to watch opening night action

Tennis star Taylor Fritz's influencer ex-girlfriend isn't shying away from the US Open.

Five months on from the end of their six-year relationship, social media star Morgan Riddle made her presence abundantly clear on Sunday night by posting a shot from her near-courtside seat during Novak Djokovic's match with Mariano Navone. 

And in case the prime real estate didn't make her status perfectly clear, Riddle made sure to picture her $100 order of chicken nuggets – a small paper box that included some fried poultry, condiments and a tin of Petrossian Imperial Caviar.

Riddle has continued posting about her glamorous personal life even after shedding her 'tennis WAG' label. During the World Cup, she featured herself at one game supporting Brazil, and regularly plugs luxury products and vacation spots on her social media accounts these days. 

Fritz, meanwhile, is the No. 9 seed at the US Open and one of the tournament favorites. He and influencer/model Olivia Jade were spotted in New York only last week, marking their first public appearance since they were first linked back in May.

Rumors of his breakup with Riddle first surfaced on April 6 when social media accounts claimed Fritz had 'dumped' her, though she initially attempted to laugh off those rumors. Ultimately she posted a picture of herself wearing a 'World's Best Ex-Girlfriend' T-shirt weeks later.

The couple, who began dating in 2020, became a fixture of the ATP Tour, with Riddle credited for bringing a new audience to the sport through her viral 'WAG' content.

Friends and followers quickly flooded Riddle's NYC-based post with support, with one user calling the split a 'historic fumble' by the US tennis star.

At the start of April, a source close to the couple confirmed their relationship status to the Daily Mail.

'Morgan Riddle and her boyfriend broke up and she moved to New York City. It's been at least a couple of months now that she's been there. The split has been kept really quiet,' the source exclusively shared.

The breakup news came as a shock to fans who had fallen in love with the couple over the last six years of their relationship.

However, it would seem their conflicting work schedules and Riddle's rising star power as a social media influencer and aspiring fashion icon may have played a role in their split.

'They split a few months ago, [but there is] no resentment from Morgan because tennis made her career. Taylor is not the type of guy to run around.

'Her career started taking off and she didn't want to be known as the tennis girl, even though that's what made her career,' the source continued.

Meanwhile, Jade, the daughter of actress Lori Loughlin and designer Mossimo Giannulli, split from her on-and-off boyfriend, actor Jacob Elordi, late last year.

Other celebs on hand for Sunday's US Open action included skier Lindsey Vonn, actress Emma Roberts, singer Tate McRae, designer Vera Wang, actor Orlando Bloom, actress Bridget Moynahan, and real estate broker Kelly Bensimon.
