Real Betis are increasingly confident of finding agreement with Manchester United over a loan for Antony

Antony enjoyed a productive loan spell at Betis in the second half of last season.

The winger has been frozen out at United under Ruben Amorim and is part of the club's 'bomb squad' along with Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia.

Antony proved hugely popular with the Betis fans and made 26 appearances, while he scored nine goals and provided five assists.

He also featured in the Conference League final defeat to Chelsea

In 2022 Antony joined United from Ajax for a fee of £82million plus £4.27million in add-ons.

In total at United Antony has played 96 games and has scored 12 goals since joining in 2022

Although he won the FA Cup and the League Cup with United, Antony has endured much frustration at Old Trafford and he certainly isn't part of Amorim's plans.

In total at United he has played 96 games and has scored 12 goals, while he has provided nine assists.

Antony has 16 caps for Brazil, with his most recent appearance for his country coming in 2023. He received a recall to the squad in June but was an unused substitute for games against Ecuador and Paraguay.
