Olivia Ponton fuels Joe Burrow dating rumors with racy NFL-themed Instagram post

Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton has further fueled Joe Burrow dating rumors after sharing a cheeky NFL-themed post onto her social media. 

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has been linked to the influencer since December when she was said to be the one who reported the burglary at his $7.5 million mansion to the police. 

However, both of them have remained tight-lipped on any potential romance - despite being spotted out together on multiple occasions since the turn of the year. 

Now, fans theories have come to fruition once more after Ponton shared an NFL-themed post onto her Instagram account on Monday. 

As part of her partnership with Fanatics - the self-described 'ultimate sports apparel and Fan Gear Store' - Ponton shared a clip of herself wearing just black shoulder pads and striking red shorts.

Bizarrely, she was sat in the bath for the video. In the clip, she said: 'Ladies and gentlemen... it's gameday!'

While there was no direct mention of Burrows, it didn't take long for fans to once again discuss the potential romance between the two. 

In the comments, one fan wrote: 'Could’ve just used Burrow’s backup pads in the other room'.

Another said: 'Support your boyfriend in Bengals gear!' 

Ponton was at Burrow's home back in December when he fell victim to a break-in by a group of reported illegal immigrants while he was playing a game in Dallas.

While the call to 9-1-1 dispatchers claimed that Ponton was an 'employee' of Burrow's, rumors have suggested that two have been 'hooking up' for months. 

Ponton - who boasts eight million followers on TikTok - is said to have told officers that she noticed 'a shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked' when she arrived at the property.

When she arrived at Burrow's house and discovered that someone had broken in, the TikTok star reportedly phoned her mother, Diane, who then called police.

Ponton could later be heard saying in a separate call: 'Someone broke into my house... It’s like completely messed up.'

The call came as a shock as any indication of a split between Burrow and his longtime girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher, hadn't been made public.

Since then, Ponton and Burrow have been spotted at the same events as romance rumors continue to circulate.

Back in May, Ponton was spotted heading to a Met Gala afterparty in New York City, where the former No. 1 overall pick had also graced the iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art earlier in the evening. 

Ponton initially made her name on social media, as she was part of the 'Hype House' on TikTok after initially going viral on the platform in high school, according to an interview with Flaunt.

That fame was parlayed into her becoming a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model in 2022 and 2023.

Ponton has also began dipping her toes into the acting world, as she made cameo in the movie 'It Ends with Us' earlier this year, according to Cosmopolitan.
