Indianapolis Colts fan-favorite Zaire Franklin was shocked as Naptown newcomer Daniel Jones was named a co-captain for the team for 2025.
Franklin was stunned to the point when Jones' name was announced as one of the Colts' five captains for the 2025 season after his, he barely moved.
Franklin was sitting right behind Jones at the time of the announcement, meaning his starting quarterback did not see his reaction.
However, the Colts' tweeted out the video of head coach Shane Steichen reading through the names, with Franklin in plain view for most of the video.
With every name announced by Steichen, the team let out the words 'Ah-boom' in response, except for Franklin when Jones was revealed, who barely moved.
Jones will be the starting quarterback for the Colts after joining the team this offseason. The 28-year-old had a tumultuous six-year stay with the New York Giants before being given an NFL lifeline by Indianapolis.

Jones won the Colts job over Anthony Richardson in a move that shocked many around the NFL, as Indianapolis had already spent plenty of time building up the Florida alumnus, who they selected No 4 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Yet, it was the outside who was vaulted into the top signal-caller spot, with Richardson's future with the team in doubt.
Franklin has been with the Colts since being drafted in 2018, making the Pro Bowl for the first time last season.
It is traditional on football teams for the starting quarterback to be named a captain, which makes Franklin's reaction even funnier.
The other three Colts captains are DeForest Buckner, Quenton Nelson, Kenny Moore, all of whom are also long-standing members of the Indianapolis roster.
Indianapolis opens the season against the Miami Dolphins at home on September 7.
