What a night of football.
We have all just witnessed an all-time Premier League classic. Whatever happens during the rest of this season, this game will be remembered as one of the most entertaining of the campaign come May.
I mean, it was just mental, wasn't it?
Newcastle came flying out of the blocks, battering Liverpool for the first half-hour before Ryan Gravenberch lands a suckerpunch out of nowhere to hand the visitors the lead.
10 minutes later, Anthony Gordon is sent off, and all of a sudden, the Premier League champions are in dreamland. Things only get better for them 30 seconds into the second half when Hugo Ekitike nets their second, and the game looks done and dusted already.
But this is when things went a bit crazy.
The 10 men of Newcastle then proceeded to dominate the 11 men of Liverpool, hardly allowing the visitors out of their half, and managed to claw their way back to 2-2 with just three minutes to go.
Job done right? What a comeback, simply incredible. Surely there can't be any more drama. Well, you'd think that, wouldn't you?
But just when the Geordies looked like they'd pulled off the unthinkable, 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha only goes and wins it for Liverpool in the 10th minute of stoppage time.
It's been over 90 minutes since full-time, and I still can't believe what happened.
Anyway, I need a long, old sleep after that. Thanks for staying with us tonight, and I will see you all soon.
