Micah Parsons leaves his mom in tears with life-changing decision after landing $188m Packers contract

New Green Bay Packer Micah Parsons left his mom with tears of joy streaming down her face by announcing she can retire and no longer has to work with his new mega contract. 

Parsons was shockingly traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Packers on Thursday, after a training-camp holdout and trade request on Jerry Jones' desk was honored, sending him to an NFC rival. 

Upon his arrival in Wisconsin, Parsons signed a four-year, $188million contract, the highest annual value for a non-quarterback deal ever. 

With $136million of that money guaranteed, Sherese Parsons does not have to work another day in her life. 

Parsons posted the clip to his Instagram of him hugging his mother, with tears visibly present at the life-changing news. 

'That moment when (your) momma never got to work again!' Parsons captioned the Instagram story. 'God you are amazing!' 

The song playing in the background while the Parsons shared the emotional moment is 'I Smile' by legendary gospel singer Kirk Franklin. 

Parsons is considered one of the best defensive players in the NFL, totaling 52.5 sacks in his first four years in the league.

Jones did not hesitate to go up to Sherese Parsons on Friday while making a strange dig at his now-former star's trade request.    

Sherese and her All-Pro son were both at the Cowboys' final preseason game against the Falcons at AT&T Stadium, with Parson's mother wearing her son's No 11 jersey. 

'Now Micah, why aren’t you out there playing?' Jerry Jones said to Sherese. 'You act like you want some money or something.'

Sherese did not appear upset with the comment, giving the 82-year-old Jones a big hug. Parsons himself was shockingly caught sleeping during his team's preseason game in Arlington. 

Parsons was inactive for the game and provided a fairly surreal sight as he laid on a medical table and closed his eyes during the second half.
