Malik Nabers and Giants coach Brian Daboll clashed on Sunday as Big Blue dropped their season opener at the Commanders with a poor offensive performance.
The Giants failed to score a touchdown and produced just 231 yards of total offense in Washington as their NFC East rivals won 21-6.
And Nabers and Daboll were seen butting heads between the first and second quarters as cameras caught them arguing on the sideline.
The second-year receiver looked very unhappy with something as he jawed with his coach, though Daboll attempted to smooth things over moments later.
The coach attempted to high-five Nabers in the huddle, though the former LSU star either didn't see the gesture or chose to ignore it.
Daboll then pulled his player in for a hug before play resumed.

Nabers led the Giants with 71 receiving yards, though he was only able to haul in five of 12 targets as Russell Wilson struggled in his Giants debut.
The former Seahawks, Broncos and Steelers passer completed just 17 of his 37 pass attempts for 169 yards and also took two sacks.
He ultimately finished the game with a passer rating of just 59.3.
Nonetheless, Daboll expressed his faith in Wilson after the game.
'I have confidence in Russ. We have to do better around ... overall,' he told reporters.
The Giants did reportedly devise a package of plays for Jaxson Dart in their gameplan against the Commanders, though the rookie did not see the field.
The former Ole Miss star had an extremely impressive preseason, totaling 372 passing yards and three touchdowns in appearances against the Bills, Jets and Patriots.
The Giants will travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys next week.
