Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson's trip to Dublin, Ireland went from bad to worse when his family reportedly got into a parking lot brawl after Saturday's loss to No. 22 Iowa State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.

And it wasn't some scuffle with the locals or rival Cyclones fans, but rather Johnson's father, Mark, against his other son, Anthony, according to onlookers and online reports.

Viral footage purportedly filmed outside Aviva Stadium showed two Kansas State supporters wrestling around in a parking lot puddle. Onlookers attempted to separate the pair as one voice could be heard declaring 'it's over.'

However, the two combatants clearly didn't get that message as a few punches continued to be thrown until they were final pulled apart.

The names 'Mark' and 'Anthony' were repeatedly yelled by frantic onlookers during the melee, and their identifies have since been confirmed by Go Powercat reporter Tim Fitzgerald. Furthermore, Johnson's bio on the Kansas State website lists his father's name as 'Mark' and his brother as 'Antony.'

Johnson's Instagram page also includes photos of himself alongside his father, who bears a strong resemblance to one of the two fighters in the viral video.

Daily Mail reached out to Kansas State spokespeople for comment late Saturday night.

Fitzgerald reported that no arrests were made.

It's unclear how the brawl got started, although it was just the final word on a bad day for Wildcats players, coaches and fans.

Coming off a 9-4 sophomore season, Johnson passed for 273 yards and two touchdowns for Kansas State (0-1, 0-1), while adding another score on the ground.

But it wasn't enough for the Wildcats, who trailed throughout Saturday's game in Dublin, where Iowa State coach Matt Campbell iced the game with a successful fourth-down conversion late in the fourth quarter.

'He called a great play, he gave me two plays and let me decide and I knew we were going to have a chance to get it,' Cyclones QB Rocco Becht said afterwards.

Johnson played well in the opener against Iowa State, but failed to get the win for No. 17 KSU

'We've worked on it in practice and it's been working for us and we're confident with it and I have trust in my guys.'

The recurring Aer Lingus College Football Classic series is aimed at bringing tourists from the US into the country, where roughly 30 million Americans can trace their roots. For years, invitees were predominantly Catholic schools, such as Boston College or Notre Dame.

Now, though, the series has widened its reach by inviting some larger publicly funded institutions, such as Kansas State and Iowa State.
