Jason Kelce could not contain his excitement at the news of his brother's engagement to the world's biggest pop star.
In a promotional video for Wednesday's latest installment of the 'New Heights' podcast, Jason sent a message to brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on the news of his proposal to Taylor Swift.
The proposal reportedly took place weeks ago, but photos announcing the decision were posted to Swift's Instagram on Tuesday afternoon - showing the couple embracing in a garden overflowing with blooming flowers.
Jason's reaction was quite different - with the former Philadelphia Eagles center recording the video from his podcast setup.
'There is one gigantic piece of new news that just hit the waves,' Jason said. 'We did record this podcast on Monday, which was Travis' one day off, so he is not here to address this himself.
'But we felt it was necessary as a team here at 'New Heights' to get together send Travis and Taylor a giant congratulations for being engaged. Yeah! The proposal heard around the world! F**k yeah!'
The news of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's engagement broke the internet on Tuesday
Travis' brother, Jason Kelce, screamed with joy in celebration of the news in a promo video
With Travis on his day off, Jason was left to celebrate with 'New Heights' producers Brandon Borders and Jake Chatzky.
In the promo, Jason also celebrated the success of their last installment of the show - the episode with Swift which broke numerous podcasting records.
During that show, the 'Look What You Made Me Do' songstress revealed the Oct. 3 release of her 12th studio album 'The Life of a Showgirl'.
'Unfortunately [this episode] probably won't be as good as the last episode of 'New Heights' where we set our own records, we set podcasting records, we set a Guinness Book of world records,' Jason remarked.
'That's right. Thanks to the one and only Taylor Swift for hopping on and deciding to talk with two complete idiot dudes that don't know anything about the music industry, and it was a doozy.'
The internet broke with the news yesterday as Swifties around the world reacted to the ornate scenery and the massive diamond engagement ring on her finger.
Swift captioned the images: 'Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married' while soundtracking the gallery with her song 'So High School' off her most recently released album, 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
However, according to Travis' father Ed, the Chiefs superstar wanted to wait longer and make the occasion a more 'grand' gesture.
The news of the engagement, which took place weeks ago, hit social media on Tuesday
Swifties collectively celebrated while gawking at the size of the engagement ring she wore
It caps off a two-year relationship between the Super Bowl winner and international pop icon
It was apparently how 'antsy' Swift was to get a ring on her left hand that led the Kansas City Chiefs star to speed up the process to solidify their relationship of two years.
'Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago,' Ed Kelce told Cleveland TV station WEWS. 'He was going to put it off till this week.
'I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event.'
'And I told him repeatedly, you know, "You could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event... when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you."'
Travis' future father-in-law, Scott Swift agreed with Ed's idea about his beloved daughter finally getting engaged.
