Igor Thiago showed just how much a first Premier League goal of the season meant to him, ripping his top off after scoring Brentford's second.

For a man who has started this season slowly, that was one hell of a smart finish on the rebound.

A quick word for Keith Andrews.

I sometimes think that Andrews doesn't get the credit he deserves for the job he has done at Brentford.

Let's be real, I think we all thought his tenure would be short-lived after he took over from club legend Thomas Frank. Honestly, I thought he would be toast after a few months.

But here we are, in his second season, and he has Brentford playing better than ever and in the best shape we have ever seen them. Yep, even better than when Frank was at the wheel.

They almost managed to qualify for Europe last season, and going by how they have started this campaign, it feels like they may well make up for their final-day disappointment this term.

Andrews has the Bees flying higher than ever.

Chelsea are just three goals away from having conceded as many as they did in the whole of the 2004-05 season, when they broke the defensive record. I know, mental.

Chelsea’s Xabi Alonso is only the sixth manager to see his side concede two or more goals in each of his first five games as a Premier League manager.

He joins Mick McCarthy, Sammy Lee, Terry Connor, Slavisa Jokanovic, and Scott Parker.

Not a list of managers the Spaniard was eyeing up, I don't think.

Let's take a look at how the second half thumping started.

This game was a right snooze-fest until the 60th minute, and then Jaidon Anthony brought it to life.

Jannick Schuster's header at the back post was superb, and then Anthony had the easiest job in the world.

Brentford never looked back after that.

Do not scratch your eyes, Brentford fans.

Your team really are third in the Premier League after your fifth game of the season; quite incredible.

But for Chelsea, they stay seventh and could well drop into the bottom half after the weekend.

The Bees banged in three second-half goals to humble Xabi Alonso's Chelsea, and prove once again they are pushing for Europe this season.
