Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is revealing more information about his relationship with now-wife, Brittani, opening up for the first time about the biggest regret from their romance.
While images of Rodgers' bride have not yet been publicly confirmed and her identity remains a mystery, the 42-year-old has now shared a timeline of when he met his wife.
On an episode of Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Rodgers says he met Brittani when she was living in Austin, Texas after she attended the University of Texas.
'In 2017 I met my wife, and at the time, she was leaving the States and going back to Europe,' Rodgers revealed.
'And my biggest regret is not begging her to stay or proposing right there, because that sent me right there into a tailspin of what can I be accused of as a partner in a relationship.'
It's not clear when in 2017 the pair met. The former Packers quarterback ended his relationship with actress Olivia Munn in the same year.

'She moved back over to Europe, we kept in touch, and there were a couple of times I thought things were going to work out, and then she got engaged, and I was like, well that's done,' he explained.
Rodgers explained that he became 'emotionally unavailable' after hearing the news 'because I met the person that had changed my life,' the four-time MVP revealed.
'And after that, I just poured everything I had into football, and I think I got a lot out of that for sure, but I knew I was supposed to be with this one person, but we were separated by an ocean for a lot of it.'
Even though it's not clear if he met Brittani during or after his relationship with Munn ended, Rodgers then began dating Danica Patrick from 2018 to 2020.
From there, he dated another actress - Shailene Woodley - from 2021 to 2022. The couple were engaged before they called things off.
Rodgers claimed there was 'zero intimacy' in his relationship with Patrick and says things unraveled when he didn't want to buy another home with her in 2020 after previously purchasing a house in Malibu in 2019.
As for Woodley, Rodgers says their relationship soured shortly after he proposed when he claimed the actress expressed interest in sleeping with another man before their marriage.
Neither Patrick or Woodley have publicly addressed Rodgers' comments at the time of publishing.

Rodgers also credits Brittany with helping him re-connect with his estranged family
But when it came to his marriage to Brittani, Rodgers said the circumstances aligned.
'She was engaged, then I got engaged, and luckily, for me, we came back together,' he said.
Rodgers didn't specifically reveal how the two re-connected, nor did he share details of his marriage in 2025 or his proposal to her.
'We eloped. It was quick, but I had a little something set up when I was over there, a surprise for her, but that's about all I'm going to say about that,' the Super Bowl XLV champion said.
Rodgers says Brittani has helped him reunite with some of his estranged family members.
'My wife deserves a lot of the credit for that, just to be able to get to that point to think about having the conversations, she was a big part of that,' he said.
'And not that she was pushing anything, she wasn't. It was more and you guys can probably relate to this, when you're loved by someone in such an unconditional, beautiful, pure way, it changes your perspective on all of your relationships around that, that becomes your anchor point.
'Well, if I can be made to feel like this by this person, I feel like it opens up your heart in an even deeper way that I never experienced before.'
